About

Tim HurleyIt all began with a stack of mail and a man with a mustache…

My creative career started in the mail room at the nationally syndicated talk show, Geraldo! Well, that’s what they called it back then. 6 years later, I was a producer at The Geraldo Rivera Show and co-produced his very last episode, documenting 10 years of talk-tv’s chair throwing madness. My aim then as it is now was to capture the life of a man and his dream. I like to think I still do that today.

My TV career continued on to CNBC, Court TV and various projects in between. My love-affair with the tube ended with the cancellation of Court TV’s “Catherine Crier Live”. It was at this point that I decided TV was just too small for me and too often guided by things most of us don’t really care about. If I couldn’t continue to promote a brilliant broadcaster like my friend, Catherine Crier, I’d have to mine the rest of humanity and dig up some really worthy subjects. It came to me as I was brushing my teeth one morning. The answer was staring at me right from the medicine cabinet mirror…

So I started dabbling in the internet. It all began with what I call “the test-tube baby that started it all” – MyBedhead.net. Big credit also goes to my sister, Mel who helped dream up this idea. We saw My Bedhead as a way to make stars out of regular folks. Amazing people that wake up everyday rumpled and tired just like you and me. What set these bedheads apart though, were their king-sized dreams. We all wake up the same. What we do with the rest our day is an entirely different story for everyone. The My Bedhead site was built and rebuilt so many times I lost count. I gained an intense education in website design and continue to learn with very passing day. Of course, the guys at Google and Yahoo and Viacom and Time Warner didn’t knock my door down to get to my BedHeads, So I needed another way to pay the bills. Now, I see my web design business as a broader take on the original Bedhead concept. The site hasn’t been updated in a little while but I promise , you haven’t heard the last of MyBedhead.net. Big things are coming down the pike for this site.

And here I am today. Fifteen magical websites later, this has been an absolute pleasure for me. The ambitions of my clients is contagious and nothing makes me happier than working with people who dream big. I see their hopes and aspirations as my own and thanks to them, I have a great reason to get up in the morning.

I hope you enjoyed my little story…Now let’s hear yours…
